” On 27th february 2024, the national bank for agriculture and rural development (nabard) and deendayal antyodaya yojana -national rural livelihoods mission (day-nrlm), under the ministry of rural development(mord), have signed a memorandum of understanding (mou) aimed at bolstering rural women self-help groups (shgs).i. under this mou, nabard and nrlm will empower the women shgs through capacity building, marketing support, and financial inclusion initiatives. the mou covers a period of 3 years.ii. the mou aligns nabard’s role as an enabler and facilitator in the shg ecosystem with nrlm’s goal of promoting women-led development in rural areas.”
